Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and repairing Harley- Davidson motorcycles
  • Ability to properly diagnose malfunctions
  • Installing parts & accessories as requested by customers
  • Performance work / Dyno tuning as requested

Efficiency

Customer Satisfaction & Quality Efficiency

  • Provide prompt, dependable, high-quality, vehicle service to (internal & external) customers
  • Complete repair work within the scheduled or allotted time period whenever possible. Continually improve this efficiency skill.
  • Maintain productivity (time spent working on billable jobs) as close to 100% as possible.
  • Accept work assignments from Service Writer / Manager.
  • Keep work area as clean as possible and assist others with maintaining shop cleanliness.
  • Maintain technical (PHD and other) qualifications by completing any necessary training programs assigned to you by the Service Manager.
  • Determine/Verify items needed and correct part numbers. Customer Satisfaction
  • Request parts for the job as early as possible when needs become known.
  • Perform service, repair, and customization work in accordance to factory specifications.
  • Assist Service Writer/Dispatcher, when requested with communication with customers, test riding, or any other issue which will help ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Notify the Service Writer/Dispatcher of additional work needed or any delay in expected completion as soon as they become known so that the customer may be contacted and notified of the delay.
  • After the job is finished ensure proper completion of paperwork (i.e. tech notes on RO).
  • Minimize comebacks and deal with them promptly and satisfactorily when they do occur.
  • Take all necessary precautions to ensure that all vehicles on the premise are secure and safe from damage and that all potential issues or hazards are brought to the immediate attention of the Service Management.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • MMI Certificate
  • Dyno Tuning experience
  • Motorcycle endorsement required
  • 2 years of dealership experience repairing Harley-Davidson motorcycles preferred
  • Great work ethic

Job Overview: 

As a Harley-Davidson Sales Professional, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Harley-Davidson motorcycles and related products to customers. The primary focus of this role is to utilize relationship-based selling techniques and hospitality values to create a positive and memorable experience for customers while achieving sales targets.

Sales Targets:

Administration and Documentation

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.
Prepare and submit necessary sales documentation and reports in a timely manner.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the service and parts departments to provide comprehensive solutions to customers.
Participate in training programs to stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Valid motorcycle endorsement or license
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or motorcycle industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for motorcycles and the Harley-Davidson brand.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Knowledge of relationship-based selling techniques.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a hospitality mindset.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in sales and marketing is a plus.


Commission based pay with earning potential Up to $110,000.00 per year
